Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change is looking for a Volunteer Tutor, who will help children and youth in reading and writing. The Academic Aide/Tutor will provide homework and educational assistance to students between the ages 5-18 under the Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change’s after school program.
Lauren’s House 4 Positive change is looking for a Volunteer to manage general accounting system and related activities for the organization. As an accountant, you will ensure that Federal and State regulation are followed while maintaining the accounting records for the organization.
Carries out Mission, Vision, and Values of the Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change
Responsible for accounting activities such as managing the general ledger for LH4PC
Manage grant cycle from developing budgets to billing and collection to financial reporting and close-out
Perform financial review and analysis, including monthly reports at the organization, grant and program level
Assist staff in the monitoring of program budgets
Ensure policy and procedure are in place and compliant with Federal and State regulation
Attend staff meetings, trainings and events on and off-sit
Lauren’s House 4 Positive change is looking for an Activity Leader, who will help children supervise the various activities during our Summer program. The Activity Leader will provide writing and math groups, create projects, supervise in and outdoor activities to students between the ages 5-18 under the Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change after school program.

Lauren’s House 4 Positive change is looking for a Grant Writer, who will be primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations and will persuasively communicate Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change’s mission and programs to potential funders. The Grant Writer will research, write, and prepare grant proposals and reports that align with Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change’s mission.
Research, write, and submit compelling and timely letters of inquiry and grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and other entities.
Work with teams as needed to develop project descriptions, timelines, evaluation plans, and budgets.
Prepare and submit reports and updates to funders in a timely fashion.
Support research of new funding prospects for different programs offered by our organization.
Maintain up-to-date online and physical files of all grant-related content and correspondence.
Attend meetings related to grants and fund development.
Participate in staff trainings and attend special events (as and when needed).
Conduct other duties related to successful grants and fund development
Lauren’s House 4 Positive change is looking for a HR Volunteer Coordinator to support its programs through the recruitment and management of community volunteers which is essential to fulfilling and advancing of the organization’s mission. Internal training will be provided if required.
Prepare job descriptions for the volunteers based on the needs assessments.
Knowledge about all the programs run by Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change and communicate the same to the potential volunteers.
Place advertisements in the free advertising portals.
Interview and place volunteers for specific activities.
Conduct orientations for volunteers.
Maintain volunteer records, database, and statistics.
Develop and implement formal and informal volunteer appreciation and recognition programs.
Develop, maintain, and evaluate volunteer activities for volunteer retention.
Monitor and assess volunteer satisfaction and implement program improvements where needed.
Work with other volunteers and staff to handle any volunteer concerns or issues.
Provide ongoing communication, support and guidance for volunteers.
Attend HR team meetings.
Participate in staff trainings and attend special events (as and when needed).
Perform other duties related to successful Human Resource management.
Lauren’s House 4 Positive change is looking for a Volunteer Writing Instructor, who will run Writing workshops for children between the ages of 6-18 in Lauren’s House 4 Positive Change to cultivate in the students the critical thinking and writing skills they will need to succeed in schools, colleges, and other endeavors.

Plan and implement Writing Workshop for students.
Teach the students how to think, including fundamental grammar such as whole thoughts/whole sentences and the observation that perfect verbs, adverbs, adjectives, etc are chosen to express their thoughts.
Help students to inculcate the habit to have ideas, to organize information and emotions around them, and to put their ideas and thoughts into words.
Be patient enough to read what the student has written and what he/she wanted to say but could not express in words.
Works with students individually or in small groups to develop their basic writing abilities.
Communicates well with students by establishing rapport and maintaining a friendly, helpful, patient, and interested attitude and demeanor.
Assists students to develop their abilities through asking questions and helping them internalize as well as express the “correct” answers by explaining concepts and techniques and giving them practice using those concepts and techniques.
Provide necessary accommodations and modifications for growth and success of all students.
Supervise all participants to ensure a safe learning environment and organized program.
